Review
Ruby!!! She is an awesome character to read!! She is 14 years old and trying to survive an apocalypse on her own which leads to some antics! She had to grow up so fast and I think she did so well for herself for the most part. She is determined, witty, and strong and truly dynamic character! She spent a lot of time in the library between book 1 and 2 and made a point to learn things that would help her survive!
This story is so believable! The back story of how the rain became poisonous is explained much more in this sequel and it just makes sense! There isn't too much information presented which would make it easy to poke holes in the plot!
The side characters Darius and Princess are so great and even though Princess refuses to talk she has so much character!
I am not sure if this will be the end of this series! We are left with questions and it would be so nice to have another book but at the same time an ending of an apocalypse book should be pretty and wrapped with a bow it would take decades for a happy ending in this particular world and that is OK!
What I Didn't Like:
I wish Ruby would understand more of how much easier it is to survive with a lot of other people! She spends a lot of the book looking for her dad but when she finally finds him she isn't happy even though he can provide food, clean water, and shelter!
