Read the description here. I gave this book a solid 5/5 Stars! With some awesome 80's pop culture references, the slightest (but cutest) love story, and an epic plot this story is a sure winner with most people. I do not think I have heard one negative review and for good reason! The main character Wade is intelligent, witty, and extremely motivated to win the prize and make life better for himself! Even if you were not raised in the 80's (I wasn't) or if you do not particularly like video games you will still enjoy this book!
The plot didn't captivate me nor did the characters. I did enjoy this book more than past faerie books I have read. I could at least finish this one. The Iron King is written very well Kagawa is an amazing author but it is the concept that I just cannot enjoy. I have read at least 6 or 7 so I gave it the old college try but I think I'll just give up for a while.
Read the description here. I gave Shadow and Bone a 4/5 stars the map and cover is what really drew me in not to mention the massive amount of hype this series gets on booktube! S&B did live up to all the hype thankfully! In some parts of the novel our main character Alina becomes some what of an unreliable narrator and I quite enjoy when authors write this in to their stories it gives the plot much more depth! Other than that this story is written very well, I am eager to continue on with the rest of the Grisha Trilogy!
Read the description here. I gave Sex Criminals 5/5 stars! This graphic novel was so much more classy than I expected from a book called Sex Criminals! I am not sure why but before reading I assumed that it was written from the males perspective and as a nice surprise it was written from the females! This story was a joy to read oddly relatable! The ending had a twist I didn't expect and left me wanting to run to the comic book store for volume 2! I would recommend this book to pretty much anybody and don't worry it really that explicit at all!
